Fairleigh Dickinson University Press conducts several book series under the leadership of distinguished series editors. We welcome both single-author works and collections of previously unpublished materials. Collections of conference papers, appropriately edited for publication, are welcome.

We are a scholarly press serving the academic community. We do not publish textbooks or workbooks. We will not consider unrevised dissertations. Inquire first before sending manuscripts. In format, FDU Press books follows Chicago Manual of Style, 16th edition. If requested, manuscripts should be submitted both in single hard copy (double-spaced) and in electronic format.

Manuscripts accepted for consideration by FDU Press are subject to both internal review and to evaluation by specialist evaluators. Our books are produced and manufactured through our co-publishing partnership with The Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group.

Please submit proposals or queries both to the individual series editor and to the Director of the FDU Press.

The Willa Cather Series is devoted to the life, writings, influence, and legacy of Willa Cather. We will consider single-author works and essay collections (of previously unpublished materials). The Fairleigh Dickinson University Press series in the field of Communication Studies is under the general editorship of Dr. Gary Radford,Professor of Communication Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Editor of The Atlantic Journal of Communication. We welcome both single-author works and edited essay collections. Proposals may be in communication theory, practice, history, and culture. Essay collections must have a coherent theme, contain previously unpublished materials, and contain a substantial scholarly introduction. Fairleigh Dickinson University Press invites the submission of proposals for books, monographs, or essay collections in the interdisciplinary field of literature and law. The series welcomes submissions of monographs and essay collections. The series is affiliated with the Modern Language Association's Law as Literature Discussion Group and with the John Jay College of Criminal Justice's biennial Literature and Law Conference.
